The Art of Durajan is now live, a dedicated video series that brings the people of the Awakened World to life through illustrated timelapses and music. Each short film follows the creation of an original character portrait for The Chronicles of Durajan, from first sketch to final detailing, giving viewers a front-row seat to the craft behind the story.

The series reflects the same creative approach as the novel itself: thoughtful world-building, a respect for memory and voice, and a focus on characters whose choices shape the future of Dothemia. The art is illustrated on iPad using Procreate, then paired with immersive music to set tone and tempo. The result is a compact, watchable window into a much larger world.

What to expect
